EMERGENCY MEDICINE ULTRASOUND
Point of care ultrasound (POCUS) has been shown to enhance the Emergency Physicians ability to assess and manage patients with a variety of acute illnesses.
The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) has developed guidelines for the development, progression and maintenance of these essential ultrasound skills.
The Auckland Regional Introduction to Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Course has been a great opportunity on this road to Probecraft perfection.

The College credentialing process requires the trainee to attend an introductory workshop, perform and record a requisite number of scans and pass an assessment.
